In July of 2008, Wilberdog left the band to "pursue other interests" which included a solo electronica album, an acting career and moonlighting as a Johnny Cash impersonator. A string of session players took his place before the band withered away in the winter of 2009-10. The last news on Foo was that he was out of the country, seeking treatment for depression. The band is gone, but their legacy remains.
